The Diary

Samuel Pepys, who wrote the most famous diary ever written (0) English, was born in London, England, on the 23rd of February 1633. His diary is famous for many reasons, but mainly because it provides a (1) of everyday life in England (2) 1660 and 1669. Samuel is very open about different aspects of his life, and he writes about important news stories of the time, like disease, or an enemy navy (3) up the River Thames or the Great Fire of London.
